Antonyms

In this interactive lesson, students will embark on a journey to master the concept of antonyms. The session starts with a warm-up exercise where greetings are exchanged and the agenda for the day is introduced. Students then identify frequently occurring adjectives by relating them to their antonyms through an activity called 'Look Around'. They also learn to identify frequently occurring verbs by relating them to their antonyms through a game called 'A Rainbow!'. The session concludes with a summary of what was learned and an exit slip to assess understanding. Additional worksheets are provided for further practice.
